Comedians Stephen Taylor and Ryan Trickey invite guests to share their old stand-up comedy sets. These sets are then promptly trashed, torn apart, and completely and utterly destroyed.
Originally a Louisiana native, Stephen moved to Kansas City to escape his traditional southern roots. A former political operative and evangelical, Stephen combines his unique perspective with some sweet southern charm to headline and feature at your favorite clubs, bars, and colleges across the country. He's a fast rising talent in the region that has worked with comics like Theo Von, Karlous Miller, and Mark Normand.
Stephen is the house Feature at the KC Improv and has been accepted into festivals like Flyover Fest, B4UDIE, and SF Sketchfest. He is also the co-founder of the Barrel of the Bottoms studio in Kansas City, and co-host of the Set to Destroy Podcast
Ryan Trickey is a comedian whose opened for some of the greatest working comics today such as Big Jay Oakerson, Sal Vulcano, Joe List, Mark Normand, and Doug Stanhope. Ryan’s also opened for an Elvis impersonator but that was a disaster and doesn’t belong in a bio. Ryan has worked clubs, corporate events, bars, caves, backyards, attics, and basements all over the country.
We're constantly looking for new sets to destroy. Are you a comic or do you know a comic that should be on the show? Let us know! Also, tell us what you think of Set to Destroy while you're at it.
